New Rust Game Update: Work on Procedural Railroad Networks
On a separate branch, Rust developers have begun work on improving procedural railroad networks.
One of the developers, Andre, took on the task of generating railroads on the surface of the map. As a result, players will be able to move around the world on trains without having to go down into underground structures. However, Andre admits that this innovation is not yet fully functional.
It is already known that this innovation requires several compromises to achieve optimal performance. The developers are paying special attention to this issue to ensure the best gaming experience.
Unfortunately, there is no exact information about the release date of the update yet, but the development team is actively working on it.
