Alistair on Modular Weapons

In the latest update, Alistair shared his thoughts on modular weapons in Rust.

In his speech, he noted that although the development of modular weapons was conceived from the very beginning of the game, adding them now seems to be a difficult task. It is necessary to find a balance with the existing weapons and find a solution that will allow players to enjoy the process of creating and learning modules, without making the standard weapons completely useless.

While Alistair doesn't rule out the possibility of adding modular weapons in the future, he stressed that it would take a lot of time and thought into how best to integrate them into the game.
