Ziggurat
In this guide, we'll take a look at the Ziggurat monument , which was released with the Jungle update.
General information
The Ziggurat is the key monument of the Jungle biome and a Tier 1 location. It is the most prominent structure in the region: a large pyramid with unusual architecture, partially overgrown and in some places ruined.
There are various ways to enter: through the central passage, from the sides, and even from above—climbing the outer structures and scaffolding. Because of this, the monument often becomes a site for ambushes and quick skirmishes.

Dangers and loot
NPCs and threats
There are no scientists on the Ziggurat—at least not in the traditional sense of "radtown security." The real threat comes from jungle animals and, more often, other players , who can be found on literally every level.
Loot
- approximately 4-6 normal boxes (depending on spawn);
- 2 basic boxes (one often contains a blowpipe and darts );
- Barrels of loot scattered around the area.
Radiation and preparation
- There is no radiation - no NBC suit required.
- You don't need keycards or special items for access—take whatever suits your situation.
Recycler
There's a recycling plant on the monument. It's located on the first level , next to the water area (the landmark is the pool/pond).

Where to find
The Ziggurat spawns in the jungle biome . Open the map and look for the pyramid icon/silhouette in the green zone.

How the monument is constructed
Essentially, it's a large pyramid covered in vegetation. At the front, you'll see a ruined staircase and a damaged passageway: the entrance was once blocked by a gate with metal spikes, but now it's deformed, and the lock doesn't work—anyone can enter.
Additional approaches are located on the sides and rear. Bamboo scaffolding is placed along the walls, providing a convenient means of climbing. Inside, in the center, is a freshwater pool , and above it is a partially destroyed platform.
There is also a vertical route: a hole is visible in the ceiling, from which a rope ladder hangs, allowing access to the roof.
Large pipes (similar to a drainage system) are visible on the sides of the structure. Barrels of water are also found around the monument.

How to loot and where to spawn crates
The location is pretty straightforward: you can start from the front entrance or enter from any side—there's no hard and fast "correct" route. Below are the most common locations for crates.
Point 1: Entrance area
One of the regular boxes is sometimes located at the central entrance - next to/behind the lattice structure.

Point 2: Inner platform
Once inside, check the platform: a couple more boxes often appear here.
Point 3: The “main” base box
The most interesting container is usually found to the left of the main entrance, where the large pipes enter the building. This is a basic crate: you can find a blowpipe and darts inside.

Point 4: Roof
There are usually 2-3 more boxes on top. There are several ways to get to the roof:
- climb the external scaffolding/stairs;
- use the rope ladder from the central part;
- come from the rear and climb up the available passages (depending on the situation).

Result
Ziggurat is a starting monument, so it's especially dangerous at the beginning of a wipe: the jungle obscures vision, there are a lot of players, and there are too many entry routes to control everything at once.
However, the location does have a strong point: a unique basic crate with a chance to drop a blowpipe. Early on, this is a useful item: it helps in ambushes and small firefights, especially when proper weapons are still unavailable.
Additional: positions and water
Control points
The jungle offers plenty of natural positions. The trees around the monument allow you to gain a high vantage point and keep the entrances under control—especially if you play carefully and don't rush into the center.
Water
The central pool contains fresh water . You can rehydrate there before leaving the jungle, especially if you have a long journey ahead.
