Rust Update and Wipe: New Injury System, Underground Tunnels, and DLC
⚠ UPDATE AND WIPE ALREADY TODAY AT 21:00 MSK! Wounded state system rework, underground tunnels update, new DLC, DLSS support, rendering scale, birds, scientists on monuments and more...
After a rather minor update in June, Rust starts July with some pretty big changes! This time, the developers have touched not only gameplay elements, but also made some technical changes that may be useful for many players...
»» NEW WOUND SYSTEM
Now, when falling, players will initially be able to crawl and close/open doors, and the chance to get back on their feet will be 20% - but they will not be able to stay in this state for long, and upon reaching a certain level of HP (or if someone starts looting the player), they will go into the usual state where the player lies in place.
The player can be raised by a syringe on the right mouse button - the animation will last 5 seconds before the syringe takes effect. The player also has a 100% chance to rise if at the time of injury there was a large first aid kit in the quick access slots. For other players, the chance to rise to their feet can be increased to 25% if at that moment the player completely filled the hunger and thirst bars.
»» BUNKS AND NEW ENTRANCES TO THE TUNNELS
The map will feature an entrance to a bunker with a glowing antenna that will allow you to reach the underground tunnels without having to approach the monuments.
»» NEW DLC: VOICE PROPS DLC!
The new DLC is finally here! You'll be given a whole set of items that will allow you to play music or your voice from various devices, connect a sound source to a dance floor that will shimmer in time with the music, and even dance with three new gestures.
You can see more about the items in this post. The DLC will cost the same as the previous additions - $12 or, converting to our rate taking into account regional adjustments from Steam, 259 rubles.
