Rust Update: WIPE AND NEW GRAPHICS OUT TODAY AT 21:00 MSK!

WIPE AND NEW GRAPHICS ALREADY TODAY AT 21:00 MSK! This is possibly the biggest change to the game in a very long time. The appearance of the maps will change beyond recognition, monuments will be updated and not only...

• NEW GRAPHICS. This update has been in development for almost two years - was it worth it? I think so. New forests, cliffs, a completely new level of detail in the desert, updated monuments, a new junkyard and much more will definitely impress, especially those who have not seen the changes in person.

The developers assure that this update will not affect performance in any way - what you had before the update will remain at the same level after it. In addition, they said that they were able to reduce RAM consumption by 1 gigabyte, which may play a big role for someone.

• MONUMENT CHANGES. Firstly, the entrances to underground tunnels are now fully integrated with most monuments. Secondly, many have received a couple of visual improvements - for example, the cosmodrome or the train depot. Thirdly, monuments now look slightly different in winter - vegetation and some surfaces are covered with snow, which should look a little more logical.

The sphere and the dump have changed the most - the sphere has a new lower section with barrels and an oil refinery, and the parkour on the beam has been removed from above, now there is just a platform along which you can easily walk up.

The dump has been significantly reduced in size and has a rather useful function - now there is a recycler for cars and a crane-magnet, with the help of which it will be possible to lift and crush transport, receiving scrap metal in return (125 for 1 car from four modules)
