Ferry Terminal in Rust
The Ferry Terminal is a coastal location in Rust that is already suitable for component farming and could become an important hub for interserver travel in the future.
Location overview
The developers are gradually moving the game toward the idea of a unified server ecosystem. The idea is that players will be able to travel between servers: harvest resources in one place, sell them in another, or search for raid targets in places where active players have not been seen for a while.
The ferry terminal is being considered as a potential point for such a transition. This functionality is not yet enabled, but the location itself is already available in the Rust world.

What is the terminal for now?
Currently, the ferry terminal operates like a regular radtown: people come here for components and loot. If you're looking for quick farming without major risks, this point can be useful, especially in the early stages of a wipe.
Where is it on the map?
The location appears along the edges of the map near water—on the coast and beaches. Its location can easily be confused with areas typically found with fishing villages or port facilities.
What loot can be found?

- barrels with resources and components;
- regular boxes;
- military containers.
The loot here can't be called "rich," but it's quite decent for the early and mid-game. The location, judging by its design, will have a broader purpose than simply making players rich.
Important objects and points
On the side opposite the shore, you'll find a recycler and a modular transport elevator . Inside the terminal is an entrance to the underground tunnels (metro) , and next to it is a research table .

Tugboat spawn
Tugboats don't appear at the ferry terminal. If you need this type of transport, you'll have to look for it at the ports.
Result
Currently, the Ferry Terminal is a radtown with low- to mid-tier loot. It doesn't seem like a necessary point in the late game, but it could become more important in the future if the developers actually implement server transfers.
