Parachutes, attack helicopters and much more!
:tochka: Development of parachutes
Player parachutes have officially emerged from conceptual limbo and are moving towards release. Thanks to a large number of commits over the past few weeks, it looks like parachutes will be added soon (though it's unlikely to be in the August update).
This week, work continues on various animations, camera placement, and itemization in various scenarios. Along with this, parachute shooting and damage functionality has been added, a health indicator on the HUD to indicate parachute status, and a visible backpack is being added for players who will be wearing a packed parachute (this will not show up on Hazmat and other Hazmat-based skins). We'll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
:tochka:Refinement of the Brick skin
The new building skin, Brick, is getting some finishing touches and polish. This Stone Tier skin is expected to arrive as DLC in the August 3rd update. Barring a few more final tweaks, it looks like it's ready to go! Look for it in the item shop before the update and forced wipe next week.
:tochka:Border building skin coming soon
A fourth building skin is in the works in the Building Skins 4 branch. It's rumored to be called the "Frontier skin" and will mirror the old Legacy Rust wooden skin. It looks like there's at least one more skin in the works called Tribalist or Brutalist - we'll keep you posted as more is revealed.
:tochka:Attack helicopter
The newest aircraft is back in the works. The attack helicopter has been getting some new love in the last two weeks after being out of development for about a month. It has been merged into the Aux2 branch for internal testing, and it is unclear when exactly it will be coming to the game. However, it looks like it will be available for purchase in the Air Wolf shop (in the bandit), like the other aircraft in the game.

:toch:The crafting queue is no longer cancelled when the player falls asleep
:toch:Added an additional collider to the roof of the tug to prevent a breakdown when flooded
