Locks blocking with incorrect password in the game Rust

Players in Rust will now be temporarily banned from using locks if they fail to enter the correct password more than eight times. The ban period is 15 minutes.

This change was introduced to prevent a recent issue where the system would continually try possible passwords until the correct one was found.
