Beware of scam messages from female nicknames in the game Rust
Dear participants,
We would like to draw your attention to the active mass mailing of messages from female nicknames in the game Rust, containing an invitation to play together.
They may send you a link to their Steam profile asking you to add them as a friend. However, we strongly recommend that you be extremely careful and check all links to avoid becoming a victim of scammers.
There is only one real Steam website: steamcommunity.com. Fraudsters may use similar domains with similar names that are easy to miss without paying attention. For example, a website similar to the original may look like this: steamcommuniTry.ru.
Do not give in and do not enter your details on such sites, as the scammers intend to steal your personal information.
Be vigilant and careful when communicating with unfamiliar players, especially when receiving suspicious messages or invitations. If you have suspicions, it is better not to take risks and not to respond to such messages.
Remember that your safety and the safety of your data are your priorities. Be careful when playing Rust and be aware of potential scams.
Best regards, Rust Team
