? Jungle - a new biome and hidden threats

The developers are actively working on the "Jungle" biome , which will add to the game:
✅ New RT "Ziggurat" - a mysterious location with unique loot.
✅ Dangerous animals - panthers, snakes and crocodiles.
✅ Exotic weapons - a blowpipe and a boomerang for stealth hunting.

⏳ When will it be released?
There is no exact date yet, but testing is already underway. Most likely, the release will take place no earlier than May .

? New blade - "Sunken Dagger"

A rusty knife with a unique design has appeared in the test branch:

  • For now it has the characteristics of a regular combat knife .

  • Possibly part of the Abyss DLC (underwater content).

? Easter Event 2025

In April, Rust will traditionally hold an egg hunt :
? New - chicken-style horse costumes (3 options).
? The mechanics will remain the same: searching for eggs and "seeing" hidden objects.

⚙ Base Defense Improvements

Now you can visualize the zones of action :

  • Turrets

  • Gantrapov

  • Heartbeat sensors

  • Tesla coils

? You can disable this function in the settings if it bothers you.

♻ Other changes

  • Bread now spoils gradually , not instantly.

  • A new submarine, the "Rover Submarine", is under development.

  • Improvements to the Softcore mode (for beginners).

The game is now cheaper than usual - a great chance to play with friends!
