Hi! I've been playing Rust for a long time and have been both solo and in large clans. In this article I'll tell you in simple words: why clans are needed at all, how to join them, how to create your own and what commands will come in handy. Let's go!
Why do we need clans?
Rust is a tough game. One on one you can handle, but when a squad of 10 people comes at you, it's almost impossible to survive. That's where a clan comes to the rescue:
- It's safer to farm - when half of the server's online is in your clan, you'll be covered.
- Large buildings - you can't build a bunker alone, but in a clan it's easy.
- Joint raids are almost impossible to do solo, but with a team it’s a real treat.
- Clan chat and general notifications help keep you connected.
How to join a clan
I also played solo for a long time until I realized that it was time to join a team. The easiest way is to search for a clan through:
- Discord - Every major server has a channel to find a group (search for LFG or recruitment) .
- Forums and Reddit - there are always announcements from clans there.
- Dating in the game - sometimes you can get invited right after farming or pvp together.
It is important to understand: good clans look not only at your skill, but also at your vibe . If you are adequate, know how to communicate and do not let your teammates down, they will invite you again and again.
The biggest clans
Reddit was full of discussions about Chinese and Asian clans with up to 300 players . They were divided into servers, farmed 24/7, and built huge bases, sometimes right in the rocks. Imagine: you walk into a room and see rows of machine guns with explosives!
Some consider such clans "zergs", and some admire their organization. Personally, I think it's cool that Rust gives you the freedom to play however you want.
Top clans in Rust
There is no official rating. The “best clans” are formed by the community itself. Usually they look at:
- Control of monuments and key locations.
- Reputation on Discord and forums.
- Streams and YouTube - where clans show off their skills.
But it is important to understand that each server has its own leaders.
How to create your own team
Want to gather your friends? It's simple:
- Open the menu (Tab).
- Click the Create Team button below.
- Walk up to a player, aim your sights and press E to send an invitation.
- A friend accepts it through the inventory menu.
As a result, you have a full-fledged mini-group: you can see your teammates on the map, friendly fire and a general chat work.
Clan servers
We have separate servers where clan play is felt especially vividly:
Server | Rates | Connection |
---|---|---|
SIMPLE #2 | X2, weekly, skin giveaway | connect 185.189.255.160:35000 |
SIMPLE #5 | X10, every 2 weeks, skins distribution | connect 185.189.255.160:35100 |
SIMPLE #6 | X2, every 2 weeks | connect 185.189.255.160:35200 |
The wipe calendar is always available here , so you can plan your start with your clan in advance.
Top clan buildings
Want some inspiration? Check out the Buildings section. It contains the best clan fortresses: from neat houses to real castles that hold half the map.
Conclusion
Clans in Rust are not only about PvP and raids. They are also about friendship, communication and experience of team play. Try different formats - from a small company of 5 people to a huge zerg. And decide for yourself what is closer to you.
My advice : don't be afraid to try. Play in a clan for a couple of wipes, then solo - and you'll definitely find your own style of play.
