Rust Game Update: News and New Features
So, we have news from the fields.
Something interesting has come up!
Finally got to the SAM (anti-aircraft missile system) anti-missile system.
The SAM will have a new "Defender" mode, in which the system will stop firing at vehicles (copters, helicopters) and will concentrate on repelling fire at MLRS.
SAM will finally have electrical outputs like a turret: 1. Enemy signaling device 2. Low ammo 3. No ammo
✅Now all vehicles after destruction drop resources from the storage and you do not lose them at all! It is worth noting that modules and fuel will not be dropped by vehicles, they are destroyed along with the car
♻To remove removable items, you will now need to hold the button for 0.5 seconds
⚒When repairing objects, a tooltip interface will pop up indicating what resources will be needed to repair this type of object!
⚙UIScale components have switched to client mode. Now the scale of the player's interface is adjusted to the player's screen according to the parameters set by the user, not the server. It is not entirely clear what this will affect, but the developers believe that it will be better this way
Work is underway on water, wave splash effects, and there is also talk about water resistance. Most likely, this will affect the behavior of players underwater.
And... It's not certain yet, but most likely all objects will float on the surface of the water and will not sink (but this will need to be checked)
