Rust AI Update and New Animal Models

Rust has received a major update that has affected the AI and animal models. The wolf, deer, bear and boar have been completely redesigned, now their appearance has become even more realistic, and new animations have been added.

An important change was the rewriting of the entire artificial intelligence from scratch. Animals became more dangerous and mobile, and scientists received more accurate spatial orientation skills. Some changes affect the technical part of the game, but you will definitely notice these innovations.

Another update has been made to the demo player for content creators, which now includes a time slider and the ability to record and replay camera movements and additional options like depth of field adjustment.

The update will be available for download on June 3 at 21:00 Moscow time. A new round of Twitch Drops is also expected at the same time, so be prepared!
