Military desert bases and MLRS are already on the pre-test (aux) branch!

In total, about 3-4 bases with a procedurally generated structure appear on the map. But they have one thing in common - the presence of MLRS in the center. The base usually consists of a couple of training facilities, hangars, abandoned tents and production buildings.

But don't expect to be alone here - there will be armed scientists on the grounds who will obviously put up a fight. There aren't as many of them as at other monuments, though - so getting rid of them won't be a big deal.

There is no loot on the monument (at the moment?), but it is important to keep in mind that the content on the aux branch is very raw - it will undergo a ton of fixes and adjustments before it reaches the test branch and then the release.

With MLRS on every military base, it is clear that any structures within range will be at risk of being hit by an artillery barrage. How does the system itself work?

No one will let you just shoot - each salvo uses 16 rockets of a separate new type, which is called "artillery". Also, each salvo requires an MLRS module - it is inserted into the control panel and it disappears after use, which significantly complicates the work with this weapon. So far, there is no way to get these items in the game - this will be improved soon.

The MLRS is equipped with a control board with a built-in map, through which you specify the point you want to strike, a lever for firing and a slot for a module. The radius of the missiles' reach is quite wide, which must be taken into account - however, MLRS missiles will easily be shot down by anti-aircraft guns.

The update will be released on November 4 at 22:00 Moscow time. Currently, it is available exclusively on the aux01 branch.
