Twitch Drops Rust: how to get and claim skins

Check the active campaign on Twitch, link Steam and Twitch through Facepunch, watch a suitable stream, and claim the reward by clicking the Claim button in the Drops inventory. Requirements and deadlines depend on the campaign.

The current dates, channels, and requirements are displayed in the Twitch campaigns list and on the Facepunch website. This page is a permanent guide; the end of a round does not mean that rewards are currently available.

Project drops and Twitch Drops are different rewards.

Official Twitch Drops are awarded for watching broadcasts according to Facepunch and Twitch's terms. The in-game giveaways of the project have their own conditions; time on the server does not replace watching the broadcast.

How are the project rewards structured →

Step-by-step guide

  1. Check the correct Steam and Twitch account linking on the official Facepunch page.
  2. Open the campaign conditions: a specified streamer is needed for personal drops, while a suitable channel with Drops enabled is needed for general drops.
  3. Check that progress is being made in the Twitch Drops Inventory. Watching multiple channels simultaneously does not speed up the process.
  4. After completing the condition, click on Claim. Then check your Steam inventory and the list of Rust items.

The item did not spawn

Facepunch states that delivery may take up to 10 minutes. If 30 minutes have passed, check the account linking on the official page and use Check for Missing Drops. Save the reward name and Claim confirmation for support.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need Twitch Prime?

No. To obtain the item, you need a Twitch account and a Steam account with Rust; viewing conditions are set by the campaign.

Can you get drops after completing the campaign?

It is usually not possible to make up for missing views after the end. To claim a reward already earned, check the campaign rules and the official tool for finding missing items.
