New Aiming Stance

Another important change is the transition to a more natural aiming stance. The old version, where the character looked straight ahead, was functional but visually not the best. Plus, due to this body position, there were often clipping issues with weapons.

Now a more spread out stance is used, close to the weaver stance. The torso and hips are at an angle, the body looks more alive, and the weapon fits better into the character's pose.

Developers emphasize that Rust should not turn into a game with beautiful but slow transitions. Responsiveness is important. Shooting, weapon switching, movement - everything should feel fast. If a player dies, it's not because of a "slow beautiful animation," but most likely because of their own actions.

Ballistic Armour - New Top-tier Armor
