Rust Update: Railroad Tracks and New Fixes
An update will be released on April 7th.
The main change will affect the railway tracks.
Railway tracks will be completely procedurally generated like regular roads. It became known that we will be able to ride trains a little later, the developers do not have time to finalize them, so we will just admire them))).
The trains will be of a new type with carriages that can be connected to each other.
Fixes are being made on:
- Work on water, ripples, splash effects and bubbles.
- Work is underway on brick textures of buildings.
- Fixed textures that were of low quality and illegible in the dark.
- Work is underway on a new trap, a tripwire made from a hand grenade ❤️
- Added lighting to the crane cabin. If you hold the crouch key in it, the cabin will return to its original position.
Zipline:
- Fixed a bug with the zipline handle, it now disappears if the player jumps off. The player will jump off a little earlier to reduce the chance of dying if they hit the ground with their feet at the very end.
- We are testing the smooth movement of the player on the zipline, it was painfully rough.
