Diving and towing!

:tochka: Diving suit.
A new development branch has surfaced in the Rust community, which is related to a diving suit. While there are no details or images yet, it is likely that it will be some sort of deep-sea exploration suit, similar to Jacques Cousteau's helmet. Significant progress has been seen in this area, and we can expect it to arrive soon. A number of hidden commits dating back about a week have recently been discovered, suggesting that the developers are actively working on this project.

:tochka: Tugboat
There is a new vessel currently in development in Rust called the "Tugboat". It may have a special functionality that no other boat in the game has - towing. The development of the new branch has been in full swing for a few weeks now, and we can expect new features for interacting with the world of Rust to appear soon.

According to preliminary data, the general models and textures for the boat are already ready. Physics and buoyancy, fuel consumption and storage, and possibly the initial functionality of the thrust have been implemented. All this is still in a separate branch, so there are no specifics on the visuals yet. The developers promise to keep us updated.

Some players have suggested that this tugboat could be a kind of "door" to other servers. Despite the fact that information on transitions from server to server has not been updated for a long time, the developers have already started talking about it. However, at first the tugboat will simply be a new sea transport, and later new functionality may be added to it. We will wait for new details from the game developers.

:tochka: Bear Improvements
Some fresh animations for the bears will be coming in the new branch. There are no visual changes yet, but apparently new animations are already in the works, which will include various idle poses, walking, standing, and attacking.

:tochka: Correction of skin of containers for metal buildings
The latest update to the Cargo Container build skin last week brought several much-anticipated fixes. Specifically, an issue with the visual display of new materials when building was fixed, as well as an issue with wall corners. A bug where vehicles could clip through the base of the container was also fixed. Additionally, the accuracy of the collider on the roof of the Cargo Container was improved.

NPC scientists have become more intelligent and adaptive. They now have a reduced field of view and also simulate hearing to detect enemies sneaking up on them from behind. If a scientist spots danger, he can quickly turn and run for cover instead of slowly retreating. Additionally, if his health is full, he can take his time to take cover and enter a combat state. NPC scientists can also continue moving towards a position while in pursuit of the player, instead of simply stopping and switching to a combat state. All of these changes make the game more interesting and evoke more emotion in players.
