The Future of Rust: What to Expect from the Addition of the Character Editor?

Great news for all Rust fans! Developer Alistair has confirmed plans to add a character editor in the future.

In his post, Alistair shared information about a long-term project that includes updating the game's character model, animations, and addressing key issues with player models.

Once this project is complete, the developers will begin to consider adding a character editor so that players can customize their characters' appearance as they see fit.

But like all major projects, these updates take time and careful development. Alistair says that the release is planned for 2025 only, to ensure high quality and full compliance with player expectations.

The addition of a character editor to Rust will open up new possibilities for creativity and individuality for players, allowing them to create unique characters that reflect their own style and preferences.

The future of Rust looks exciting and we can't wait to fully embody our characters and immerse ourselves in this incredible world.
