Workbenches are now upgradeable!

Workbenches have been reworked and now support upgrades.
There are 10 improvements ? available that significantly change everyday crafting:

Learning any item from the tech tree without progress (price ×2, 10% fail chance)
Crafting radius increased by 2 times
10% chance to get an extra item when mass crafting (except rockets and C4)
Clothing always has a minimum of 1 slot for plates
100% comfort near the workbench
Crafting speed +25%
20% chance to get 1-8 random components when crafting
Workbench durability +150%, reduced explosion damage
Cost of learning in the tech tree -20%
Chance to return 0-10% resources when crafting

This makes workbenches not just a "crafting box," but a key point of progression and economy in bases and on servers.

New trolling with traps in May ?

In May, a new level of trolling is coming:
You can attach grenades to tin can traps ?
Any type of grenade, including signaling ?, can be used.

Imagine my face if I trigger such a trap at the oil rig…
The trap remains silent and unnoticed, while the explosion will be much more unpleasant.

New DLC - Industrial DLC

Rust will introduce a new DLC - Industrial DLC.
It will add skins for:

Electric furnaces
Turrets
Shelves

Most likely, there will be some additional content, but the exact list is currently unknown.
The official price of the DLC has not been announced.

Developers will also add:

Mortar (crafting method currently unknown)
Mortar ammunition: crafted the same way as regular rockets for rocket launchers

May Update and Prostoj Rust

The May update will bring not only new mechanics but also balance adjustments and gameplay enhancements:

mission and NPC fixes,
tech tree and research improvements,
new items and decorations.

On the Prostoj Rust servers, you can play as usual and at the same time receive REAL skins in your Steam inventory just for playing, completing tasks, and participating in activities.

Rust players, get ready for a new level of building, crafting, and trolling - May in Rust will be explosive and upgrade-filled.
